Code of Conduct

Techbit Solutions treats all of its workers with respect and dignity, safety, good working conditions, and performing environmentally responsible operations. Techbit embrace the following social, environmental, and ethical responsibilities.

Supplier agree with Techbit’s Supplier Code of Conduct:

  • Underlying Obligations. In addition to these responsibilities, suppliers must comply with all applicable laws; legal regulations, directives, and guidelines; and all obligations in any contract a supplier may have with us.

  • Suppliers will accurately disclose information regarding their labor, health and safety, environmental practices, business activities, and performance, in accordance with prevailing industry practices.

  • Cooperation. Suppliers will cooperate with any information requests we may initiate to confirm their fulfillment of these responsibilities.

Human Rights

Techbit is committed to upholding the human rights of workers and treating them with dignity and respect. This applies to all employees and as a result, suppliers must manage their own workforce in order to achieve the following results:

Health & Safety

Suppliers will integrate the following health and safety management requirements into business processes to provide workers with a healthy and safe work environment:

  • Suppliers will comply with all applicable safety and health laws and regulations.

  • Suppliers will identify and plan for potential emergencies, and will implement emergency plans and provide guidance to workers on emergency response procedures.

  • Suppliers will provide workers with ready access to clean toilet facilities, potable water, and storage, and eating facilities.

Environment

Techbit recognizes that environmental responsibility is integral to producing world-class products.

  • Throughout operations, suppliers will work to reduce the consumption of resources, including raw materials, energy, and water.

  • Suppliers will work to reduce or eliminate waste of all types.

Ethics & Compliance

Suppliers will uphold the highest standards of ethics to promote honesty and integrity in business operations, including:

  • Will avoid the appearance of conflicts of interest in work with us, and will immediately disclose any known family or other close personal relationships with our employees who have an influence over their engagements with us.

  • Will respect intellectual property rights, and will conduct technology and know-how transfers in a manner protecting intellectual property rights.

  • Will protect the privacy of personal information of everyone with whom they do business, including suppliers, customers, consumers, and workers.

Employees

Techbit promote freedom of expression and open communication. But we expect all employees to follow our code of conduct. They should avoid offending, participating in serious disputes and disrupting our workplace. We also expect them to foster a well-organized, respectful and collaborative environment. We outline the components of our Code of Conduct below:

  • Compliance with law: All employees must protect our company’s legality. They should comply with all environmental, safety and fair dealing laws. We expect employees to be ethical and responsible when dealing with our company’s finances, products, partnerships and public image.

  • Respect in the workplace: All employees should respect their colleagues. We won’t allow any kind of discriminatory behaviour, harassment or victimization. Employees should conform with our equal opportunity policy in all aspects of their work, from recruitment and performance evaluation to interpersonal relations.

  • Protection of Company Property: All employees should treat our company’s property, whether material or intangible, with respect and care.

  • Employees should protect company facilities and other material property (e.g. company cars) from damage and vandalism, whenever possible.

  • Job duties and authority: All employees should fulfill their job duties with integrity and respect toward customers, stakeholders and the community. Supervisors and managers mustn’t abuse their authority.

  • Conflict of interest: We expect employees to avoid any personal, financial or other interests that might hinder their capability or willingness to perform their job duties.

  • Disciplinary actions: Techbit may have to take disciplinary action against employees who repeatedly or intentionally fail to follow our code of conduct. Disciplinary actions will vary depending on the violation.

    Possible consequences include:
    Demotion.
    Reprimand.
    Suspension or termination for more serious offenses.
    Detraction of benefits for a definite or indefinite time.
